The third day of Camino Banovina route starts in front of the eco-center “Vrata Zrinske gore”. After the path leaves the settlement, this section of the route offers a mix of smaller sections through the forests and fields with villages Donja Bačuga and Luščani. After Lušćani today’s stage continues through the forest until it reaches the village of Majske Poljane. This village significantly suffered through the earthquake of 2020.
A short while after the path leaves Majske Poljane it reaches the town of Glina, also known as the “Town of Croatian anthem”. It was here that in the 19th century Josip Runjanin composed the Croatian anthem.
Glina is where the third day of Camino Banovina route ends.
