In response to numerous inquiries regarding the Camino Dubrovnik project, the Confraternity of St. James Croatia and the Confraternity of St. James Bosnia and Herzegovina would like to inform pilgrims and the public that our confraternities have not been involved in any way in the implementation of the Camino Dubrovnik project. Likewise, our confraternities have not been, in any way, financially involved in the Camino Dubrovnik project.
Camino Dubrovnik is not part of the official European Camino route network through Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina..

We informed the City of Dubrovnik about our planned Camino route through Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which includes Dubrovnik. While we have been actively involved in the development of all other Camino route sections,, the City of Dubrovnik proceeded independently with this project without the participation of our confraternities .
The manner in which the project was carried out does not meet Camino route standards and, as such, cannot be part of the official European Camino route network through Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have notified the city of Dubrovnik accordingly.
