The section begins in the village of Hlevci, from where you can take a leisurely walk to the main road. At the intersection, a short excursion off the main route is recommended – turning left will take you to the center of Ravna Gora. There is the impressive church of St. Teresa of Avila, worth visiting for its architectural and cultural importance. There are also bars and restaurants in the village where you can refresh yourself and spend the night. After visiting Ravna Gora, the section returns to the main route and continues uphill along the road towards the chapel of St. Florian. In Stari Laz, pilgrims can see the Chapel of the Holy Cross and the Chapel of St. Stephen the King, and then the Chapel of the Holy Family – significant spiritual and historical sites. The trail then ascends and continues towards the highest inhabited place in Croatia – Begovo Razdolje, located at 1078 m asl, known for its untouched nature and traditional mountain architecture. Here it is possible to briefly deviate from the route and visit the chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes and the Frančišković farm, where you can taste homemade dairy products. In addition to Begovo Razdolje, you can also find accommodation in Mrkopalj or Stari Laz.

Accommodation availability between and at the end of this recommended daily route is limited.

Some pilgrims choose accommodation at one destination on the Camino Gorski Kotar route and use local taxi services to get to and from the daily stages.
