This section starts in the village of Lučice, from where in just a few kilometers you reach the largest town in Gorski Kotar and the highest town in Croatia – Delnice. This is an opportunity to experience the more urban part of Gorski Kotar as well as the local gastronomy. Among the religious attraction, it is worth mentioning the church of St. John the Baptist, which will be on your left when you pass the city center. From here, the road leads downhill along the main road to Brod na Kupi the entire time, so special caution is required regarding traffic. Along the way, it is possible to see the chapel in Gornje Tihovo, and upon arrival in Brod na Kupi, be sure to visit the parish church of St. Mary Magdalene. The permanent exhibition of the Natural History Museum – Wildlife with a view of the sea, located in the Zrinski Castle in the very center of the village, is also well worth a visit. This is also the last destination of this section and an opportunity for an overnight stay and refreshments.
