Join on Camino Imota weekend, an organized pilgrimage on this stage of Camino Croatia route. It will be held from Friday October 25th to Sunday October 27th, 2024.
These three days are an ideal opportunity for all those who wish to feel at least a part of that unique Camino experience, test their fitness before starting on one of the longer Camino routes, discover Camino Croatia as well as for all those who wish to recall their own Camino experience.
With the guided pilgrimage through Imota region you’ll have an opportunity to explore rich local heritage, listen to Camino testimonials, get some spiritual nourishment, as well as try local “vino tinto”.

Friday 25. 10. 2024.
Imotski- brana (end Prološkog polja) 15.4 km
Gathering in front of the Church of St. Francis in Imotski
7:00 Holy Mass, Church of St. Francis
Organized walk Imotski-Kamenmost-Proložac-Brana (end of Prološko polje) 15.4 km
Organized transportation to Imotski Bus Station and, if necessary, to Hotel Zdilar in Prološac.
In Kamenmost and Prološac there are cafes and shops near the trail where there will be walking breaks.
In Prološac, a friar will meet us at the church of St. Mihovil, who will tell us a few words about the church and give a pilgrim’s blessing.
Saturday 26. 10. 2024.
brana-Lokvičići -Lovreć 15.2 km
6:30 Holy Mass in the Church of St. Franje – location
7:00 Organized transportation from Imotski Bus Station (location) and, if necessary, from Hotel Zdilar in Prološac to Lokvičić
7:30 – 15:30 Hodnja Brana – Lokvičići – Lovreć 15.2 km
15:30 Arrival in Lovreć
This section has water supply in Lokvičići.
In Lokvičići and Lovreć, we will be met by priests who will tell us a few words about the church and give a pilgrim’s blessing.
Sunday 27. 10. 2024.
Lovreć – Cista Provo – Cista Velika 14 km
7:00 Holy Mass in the Church of St. Franje – location
Organized transportation from Imotski Bus Station (location) to Prološac
Walking Lovreć – Cista Provo – Cista Velika 14 km
Ceremony with issuing of pilgrim certificates (Compostela) at Church of St. James
This section has more options for supplies, it passes by several shops, cafes and restaurants but with Sunday working hours.
In Cista Provo we will be greeted by a priest who will tell us a few words about the church and give a pilgrim’s blessing.
At the end of each daily section, a light snack will be organized.
