Join on Camino Imota weekend, an organized pilgrimage on this stage of Camino Croatia route. It will be held from Friday May 5th to Sunday May 7th 2023.
These three days are an ideal opportunity for all those who wish to feel at least a part of that unique Camino experience, test their fitness before starting on one of the longer Camino routes, discover Camino Croatia as well as for all those who wish to recall their own Camino experience.
With the guided pilgrimage through Imota region you’ll have an opportunity to explore rich local heritage, listen to Camino testimonials, get some spiritual nourishment, as well as try local “vino tinto”.

Friday 5.05.
9:00 Organized transfer from the Imotski bus terminal (location) to Cista Velika
10:00 Holy Mass – Church of St. James, Cista Velika (location)
11:00 – 15:30 Walk Cista Velika – Lovreć
Halfway along the route there is a town with shops where you can resupply.
Saturday 6.05.
7:00 Organized transfer from the Imotski bus terminal (location) to Lovreć
7:30 – 11:30 Walk Lovreć (location) – Lokvičići
11:30 Arrival at u Lokvičići, near the parish church
12:00 -14:30 Walk Lokvičići – Proložac
15:30 spiritual reflection – Church of St. Michael, Proložac (location)
This stage has no options for resupply, take at least 3l of water and some food.
Sunday 7.05.
7:00 Organized transfer from the Imotski bus terminal (location) to Proložac
7:15 – 15:45 Walk from Proložac (location) – Zmijavci – Runovići – Vinjani – Imotski
16:30 Ceremony with issuing of pilgrim certificates (Compostela) at Church of St. Francis (location)
19:00 Holy Mass, Church of St. Francis (location)
This stage has several options for resupply along the path.

Weekend option of excursion from Zagreb depends on the number of people interested in this (if you check this during registration, the organizer will get back to you with details).
Notice:
There will be daily free transfers from Imotski to the start of each daily stage as well as return to Imotski in the afternoon.
After each daily stage there will be a picnic lunch organized.
Advice:
- make sure you take comfortable hiking footwear
- depending on weather conditions make sure you take sun/rain protection
- carry at least 2l of water, sandwich, fruit or energy bars
