Since 1203. Croatians have made organized pilgrimages to the shrine of St. James at Santiago de Compostela. Camino Croatia aims to restore these medieval pilgrimage routes.

The complete route has 20 route stages and stretches’ over 3.000 km. Currently 10 stages are active (waymarked and with pilgrim infrastructure), with others in development.
