There are different options for traveling to the island of Korčula depending on your point of departure:

By car:

  • Via the A1 highway to the exit for Ploče, then over the Pelješki bridge to Orebić and by ferry Orebić – Dominče (Korčula). The distance between Split and Orebić is 211 km, of which 111 km is the A1 highway.
  • Via the A1 highway to Split, then by ferry Split – Vela Luka (Korčula) and from Vela Luka to Dominč.
  • Via the A1 highway to Split, and then by catamaran from Split to Korčula.
  • From Zagreb via Neum (BIH), then via Pelješac to Orebić, and finally by ferry to Dominč (Korčula).
  • From Split via the A1 highway to the exit for Ploče, then over the Pelješki bridge to Orebić. The distance is 211 km, of which 111 km is the A1 highway.

 

By plane:

  • By flight to Split, then by catamaran to Korčula or by ferry to Vela Luka.
  • By flight to Dubrovnik, then by bus or taxi transfer (crossing the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina) to Orebić, and by ferry to Korčula.

The road distance from Dubrovnik to Orebić is 110 km.

By ferry/catamaran:

  • Traveling by ferry from Orebić to Dominč.
  • Traveling by ferry from Split to Vela Luka.
  • Catamaran connection between Split and Korčula.

The ferry company Jadrolinije and Krilo operates on this route. It is recommended to check the timetable in advance, the timetable of which depends on the season.
