NOTICE Camino Podravina

Due to the Day of Mourning on Saturday 26.04.2025, we are canceling the planned pilgrimage for that day.

The organized walk will only take place on Sunday 27.04.2025 with the following plan and schedule.

Gathering at 7:30 in Ferdinadovac in the parish hall (across from the church)
After registration, breakfast will follow, which will be provided for all participants.
Holy Mass will be at 9 am.
After the blessing of the pilgrims and the consecration of the Camino pillars in front of the church, we will start walking.
Stops along the way with spiritual content and breaks for rest and food as needed.
Please note that you should bring food and liquids in your backpack.
The finish is planned in Kloštar Podravski, where Compostelas will be distributed to all participants. The planned arrival time is 5:30-6 pm.
We will take you back to your cars in Ferdinandovac by bus.

RECOMMENDATION
For all those who have already booked their overnight stays:
Come according to your plan on Saturday and walk independently any section of the Camino Podravina path (e.g. near your accommodation) or according to your wishes.
Create your own independent Camino experience. We are at your disposal if you need any transportation back to your accommodation, if you are unable to organize it yourself.
The second day, Sunday, we hang out and walk together.
Sometimes unplanned situations happen that we cannot influence but we can adapt to.
We believe that everything is part of God’s plan and may Saint James be with us.
