In front of the Church of the Holy Trinity we are in Reka. The Camino path leads towards the railway and the main road. On the left you will pass by a small park, a railway crossing and a large football field will be on your left. Before you cross the main road, because the Camino leads you straight, buy food and water because you will not have a chance to get to Rasinja. The shop is also on the left. You walk along the asphalt road to the place where the Camino turns right onto a gravel road. Soon turn left and right to Rečko polje. You pass through the settlement and the road along the fields. On the road that is asphalted again at a large bend, you will notice a sign where the Camino path turns sharply left onto a gravel road. This is where the hiking trail begins and you enter the trim trail on your right. You walk for about 1 km along a beautiful promenade through the forest. You can often meet people here for recreation. The path takes you past the Avalon restaurant, which will be in front of you. You turn left if you are not going to the restaurant for a coffee and slowly descend along a narrow path through the forest. The signs are on the trees and you need to follow them carefully to stay on the path. Coming out of the forest, go straight to the main road, where you now turn right onto Vinogradska Street. From that street, the next turn is a sharp left onto Dubovečki breg. On your right, you will see the chapel of St. Leopold Mandić. Follow the signs along that street, which will take you several more turns to Josipa Sirutka Street. On that street, you pass Vinica Street and go left onto a smaller, narrow, unobstructed road that is a passage through a “slaughterhouse”. When you get to the road, you are on Dr. NIkola Sertić Street and the direction to Camino is left. Not long after, you turn right into Močile junction 1 and follow the signs that still guide you a little in their directions. You are in a populated part of Koprivnica where there are many junctions, but the Camino is a well-marked path, if you follow the arrows, which are now mostly on electric poles, you can’t get lost. In this part, all the streets lead to Močile to the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which will be on your left. Before you turn left towards the church where the arrows lead you, on the right about 100 m there is the restaurant “Zlatan”, which is a friend of the Camino. There you can get a cheap meal, as well as sleep. When you reach the church in Močile, ask for a stamp. The parish office is located a little to the right of the church on the Camino path. Continue along Močile Street, following the signs to Močile Vineyards. You are again on an unpaved road and enter the forest. Now you walk along the forest road, following the signs on the trees to the place where the Camino path will direct you right onto the asphalt. On the right is the mountain hut “1 Baraka”.
Ahead of you is a long walk through the forest, but on an asphalt road. Sometimes a car passes by. When you wonder how much more to walk and I believe you are a little bored, you will reach the mountain hut “Rudi Jurić”. It is not open and has no facilities, but you can rest on the benches and gather strength for the journey. After a lot of asphalt, here is another gravel road that takes you to the right and at the sign Vrh Soviljnjak turn right again. You will reach a place above Rasinja. It is a vineyard area with huts. At one point you will see a beautiful view of Rasinja below you. Passing by the huts, you will slowly descend to the cemetery located on the Camino path on the right. You have entered Rasinja and at the Gudan farm on the right (you cannot help but notice) you will turn right. You are on the main street in Rasinja and in front of you will be the church of the Presentation of the Holy Cross on the right.
Look for the stamp and we definitely recommend that you look at the old cemetery next to the church, where the tombs of the Inkey family are located. On the right side of the church, go down the stairs and there you will find a sleeping beauty waiting for better times – the Inkey family castle. The castle is from the 19th century.
Visit the castle, take a few photos and take the path to the road that takes you right to an even larger road that you can cross with a well-marked zebra crossing. Walk along the road to the railway crossing and immediately after the railway you have to turn left onto a gravel road. Walk along the railway on your left to the sign that will direct you right along a field path along the forest. Follow this road straight to the asphalt road. In front of you is the Gorica sign, and the first house on the right is where you will find Slavek who will take you to the chapel of St. James and give you a stamp. Slavek welcomes every pilgrim with a smile on his face. When you leave Gorica, the signs lead you along a dirt road along the fields to the small town of Vojvodinec on the left, and you have to turn sharply right onto the asphalt and take that road to Kuzminec.
Today’s day is over. You have arrived at the church of St. Cosmas and Damian, a beautiful church with a rich history. Go in to get your stamp and give thanks for this day.
