The second day of the Camino Zadar pilgrimage route begins in the heart of Vrana, a town steeped in history and charm. After a restful morning, pilgrims set off from the town center, crossing the bridge and following the main road. Before long, the path veers left, winding through open fields where the tranquility of nature and the gentle sounds of the countryside create a serene atmosphere.
The route then rejoins the road, passing by the local cemetery of Biograd na Moru before gradually descending toward the coast. Here, a scenic seaside promenade begins, stretching along the sparkling Adriatic and offering a refreshing and picturesque walk all the way to Sveti Filip i Jakov.
As pilgrims enter the town, they are greeted by charming narrow streets and traditional stone houses. The path leads past the Church of St. Philip and James, an ideal spot for a short pause and a moment of prayer. Pilgrims can also receive a stamp in their passport here before continuing on through the town’s quiet streets to the Church of St. Michael.
The final stretch of today’s journey follows the coastline, allowing pilgrims to unwind and take in breathtaking views of the crystal-clear sea and nearby islands. The day’s walk ends in Sveti Filip i Jakov, where pilgrims can find plenty of places to rest, refresh, and prepare for the next stage of their pilgrimage.

Accommodation availability between and at the end of this recommended daily route is good.

When you leave Vrana and reach Biograd na Moru, accommodation is available along the entire length of the section. You can choose between camping, hotel, or apartment accommodation.

Some pilgrims choose accommodation at one destination on the Camino Zadar route and use local taxi services to get to and from the daily stages.
