The seventh stage of the Camino Zadar pilgrimage begins in the tranquil village of Rudići, where the path gradually ascends. This section takes pilgrims through unspoiled nature, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Novigrad Sea and the distant Velebit mountain range.
As the journey continues, the trail reaches a gravel road above Posedarje, where pilgrims encounter a striking stone-carved Stations of the Cross. Here, a large stone cross dedicated to the unborn and a small chapel create a serene spot for reflection and prayer. Pilgrims can also receive a new stamp for their passports at this meaningful location.
Leaving this spiritually uplifting place behind, the route follows an old gravel road leading toward Maslenica Bridge. The view from the bridge is both awe-inspiring and deeply symbolic, serving as a reminder of the homeland’s history and marking the transition into the final stretch of today’s stage.
Upon reaching Maslenica, pilgrims conclude the day’s journey, where they can find accommodations, restock supplies, and prepare for the final stage of the Camino Zadar pilgrimage.
On this road, there aren’t really any villages through which the road passes, but they are located near the path and have private accommodation capacity.
