The final stage of the Camino Zadar route begins as pilgrims depart from Maslenica, following a road that passes under the highway and gradually ascends toward Rovanjska. This charming coastal town offers a perfect spot for a short break at one of the local restaurants before embarking on the more challenging part of the journey.
From here, the path branches onto a gravel road that runs above Seline, revealing breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and the rugged slopes of Velebit. At this point, pilgrims can choose to turn right toward Paklenica National Park to visit the remains of the Church of St. James or continue left toward Seline, where the Camino Zadar route officially concludes. In Seline, pilgrims can receive the final stamp for this section of their journey.
Reaching Seline marks the completion of this pilgrimage, providing a moment to reflect on the miles traveled, the spiritual experiences gained, and the stunning landscapes that accompanied the journey. After submitting the Compostela application, pilgrims can collect their certificate at the tourist office in Seline.
*After Jukići, you can continue your journey to the Mala Paklenica National Park (entrance Jukići) to the remains of the Church of St. James. The national park provides free entrance for Camino pilgrims upon presentation of a pilgrim’s passport.
On this route, there are private accommodation facilities in places between the starting point and Seline.
