Camino Spiritual Experience is a guide to places that offer spirtual programs and activities along all the routes of El Camino de Santiago in Europe. The programs listed can also serve as an inspiration if you woul like to start with something similar on any Camino route, offering pilgrims meaningful moments of pause, connection, and inner peace on their pilgrimage.
The project invites all pilgrims, hosts, and Camino communities to contribute by sharing locations that have touched their hearts. By mapping these spiritual highlights, we aim to create a shared resource that helps others.

Camino Companions
After walking the Camino, sister Catherine from Ireland noticed a pilgrims need for reflection on the Camino experience. With that mind she started a program known as the Camino companions.

Carrion de Los Condes
Missions are usually associated with places like Africa. However the Augustine sisters have set one up in an albergue next to the church of Santa Maria at Carrion de Los Condes. The sisters act as missionaries on the Camino.

Boadila del Camino
A small church at the edge of the town, is the place where Vespers service is offered for the pilgrims. Father Manuel, who is the parish priest there, is a great believer in a saying attributed to St. Augustine – He who sings prays twice.
