When you are in front of the church in Kuzminac, head towards the fire station and in front of the station, the Camino path takes you to the right into the fields. You walk along a field path in a beautiful natural environment. Following the arrows that will redirect you several times, you will reach the paved road where you must go right. You have entered a part of Ludbreg Podravina. You will come to the chapel of St. Magdalene on your right. It is the burial chapel of the Counts Drašković, which is surrounded by the Križenčija forest. After a break near the chapel, you go straight along the gravel road into the forest. On the right is a hunting lodge. This forest has a relaxing effect, it is time for meditation. When you leave the forest, walk a little further to the intersection where you will go left towards the village of St. Petar. In the center of the town, the church will be on your right and you go right, then immediately left at the crucifix. On the way, you will find a restaurant, the “Lav” cafe on the right. Take the opportunity to have a coffee or something to eat. When you leave the village, there is a plain in front of you, a road, you need to be a little careful.

Then you come to an even more main road, you are on the main road Koprivnica-Ludbreg. On the side of the road you have about 1m of space to walk, so you are safe, but still be careful. When you get to the place Globočec Ludbreški, at the small chapel on the left, you have to go into Cvjetna Street, left. Soon right and continue along Cvjetna Street. When you get to the intersection of Cvjetna Street with Izvorska and before you go along the Camino, go straight onto a narrow road. On the right is the red house no. 11 where you can get a stamp of St. Vincent at Kristina’s.

A slight climb and the path takes you to the right and you continue to climb gently. You are surrounded by monasteries and vineyards, and in front of you you will see the chapel of the Mother of God. The Camino takes you to the left along Vinogradska Street and there prepare for the climb, after all, you are going towards the “great saint” of this area. You come to the viewpoint, the statue of Saint Vincent, the protector of the Ludbreg vineyards. Watch out, this is the tallest statue of Saint Vincent in the world at 7.40m. The view from the viewpoint reaches Hungary. The Trsek Winegrowers’ Association is responsible for installing this statue in 2011.

When you have enjoyed the view and rested, you set off on the last and, believe me, the most beautiful 8.5 km of the Camino Podravina.

When you have turned your back on St. Vincent, you set off on Sigečak Street, walking along the asphalt road with the splendor of beautiful cottages and weekend houses. The signs are on electric poles, they will direct you several times until you reach the place where the view of the entire Ludbreg stretches out in front of you. Here you have to turn left and you will soon enter the forest. You will walk along the forest path, following the signs on the trees. When you leave the forest, you will pass through a meadow and come back to the cottages and there you will find yourself on the asphalt again. A gentle descent along the road, you turn left and soon right with a gentle climb. Again on an unpaved road. All the time around you are beautiful cottages and huts. When you reach the road, you have to turn right on the asphalt. You will pass by a crucifix that will be on your right, you have to turn left and soon you will turn off the road again to the left. The view on the left is again spectacular. If no one has stopped you and offered you a gemšta so far, it is unlikely that you will pass this part of the path without it happening to you. At the entrance to the forest and a small gorge. It is as if you are entering an enchanted forest, but only briefly because at the bottom of the gorge there is again the luxury of cottages and there you will have to turn right and then left. You will reach the restaurant that is located on the Camino “Črn Bel” path. You will pass the parking lot and you are literally in the restaurant. The stairs will direct you to the left, but before that we recommend that you enter a restaurant for refreshment or just take a look from the restaurant terrace at Ludbreg, which you will soon enter. Extend your pilgrimage, which is nearing its end, a little longer.

When you start descending the stairs, you are again on the Camino path, you will see a closed door in front of you. You are not on the wrong path, just like in Spain, you must open the door and close it again behind you.

You will find yourself on the asphalt and go left into Starjak Street. You will soon turn right onto a gravel road. Left and then right to the dam over the Bednja. A spectacular experience Now along a gentle, beautiful promenade to the island of Mladost. A famous Ludbreg picnic spot. You will reach a lake in which there is a fountain.

You will pass through the park, over the bridge into Kalnička Street and there go right until you cross the main street of Ban Jelačić into the educational park. You can learn a little about Ludbreg from the boards located throughout the park. When you leave the park, the Camino path goes about 100 m to the right to direct you towards the famous sanctuary of the Precious Blood of Jesus.

Now, along the sanctuary that you will leave on the right, you will go straight to the Holy Trinity Square. On the right, you will pass by the castle. At the traffic lights, turn left towards the “center of the world”. It’s not cool, here you will really be standing in the center of the world.

The last arrow will direct you right towards the Church of the Holy Trinity and the end of the Camino Podravina path. Enter the church and see the famous relic of the Precious Blood of Jesus. On the right, there is also a Tourist Office where you will pick up your compostela, but only when your excitement has calmed down a bit and you realize that you have walked 160 km of the Camino Podravina.
